First off, the reason why this blog post is combined between Monday and Wednesday is because I feel like there isn't enough material for just one day's worth, and there's too much for one week's worth.
On Monday, we had a substitute - Mr. Swist. Aside from the change in teacher, we continued work on the desk assembling. Testing on Wednesday showed that the desk's design didn't allow much stability though (there are plans to add a back brace.) We also had a few ornamental legs from last Thursday (which I wasn't there for), but the fact that they were cut all the way through with the design only served to weaken it. In the future, the design might just be burned on instead, because it would be a shame to get rid of such a good looking design. In the end, we'll have a burnt-side desk.
On Wednesday, we finished the final assembly and tested stability (our desk wasn't exactly very stable, but it's a prototype which needs some work, so.) We then did something a bit different - we did a "rotational assessment" which is basically just going in a circle around the room seeing different group's prototypes, assessing them. Aside from that, there wasn't much on Wednesday. Just testing and assessing.
