Week 8 Blog Prompts DUE 10/19

Week 8 Blog Prompts   Please note that each class has suggested photos to include in the blog posts, plus prompts to answer - in some detail! - for that week's post. 
 
3D Design   Photos to include: Screen shot that shows changes from what you posted last week - improvements, a different object, additions, etc.  ADD IN AT LEAST one photo of a cool 3D thing constructed with flat pieces that you found online.

LATE LANTERNS ONLY: Photo of the finished lantern if it's done - with lights on and in the dark with the candle & Photo of the laser cutter cutting your lantern (or short video snip) and ***3D printing files need to be put into CUBE PRO. If you haven't downloaded and installed cubepro yet, do so here:

The resulting file will be a .cubepro file. I would like both the stl and the .cubepro please, with the name_color_material naming convention. 

***Lantern file (svg) needs to be in your Google Drive folder
Prompts:

•  What is one thing you use regularly in your life that you love using? What about it makes it well designed and adds to the experience you have when you use it - be detailed and descriptive, please (100-200 words).
• Why did you select the laser cut / slot connected object you chose to feature from online resources?

Prompts:

• What are the key points you will make when you present your group shapes to the class next week? (Everyone in the group needs to speak, so be sure you know what you are speaking about - I suggest a bulleted list)
• What was your biggest challenge this week and how did you solve it if you did?
• I was wondering . . .
