3D Design Photos to include: Photo of the rapid prototype(s) you produced this week. Include also at least two screen shots showing the PROGRESS of your digital design work.
Prompts:
- What did you learn from making your rapid prototype? What changes or adaptations will you make based on what you learned?
- Did revisions alter your materials list? Be sure to EDIT YOUR LIST on the document in your drive folder.
- You have 2 classes next week. What can you accomplish in that time? It's about 2+ hours of class time and maybe 1 hour of homework over the week. (FYI, I'll be in the CAD Center Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons if you want to stay and work on something)
- Be aware that you will be creating documentation or a "how to" on your project as you go and editing and refining it as you finish the project. Keep appropriate notes along the way to aid you in this process.
Design & Fabrication 2, 4
Photos: 2 classes this week- primarily focused on the hack-a-shape project. Screen shot of your edited personal shape in Adobe Illustrator
Photo of your cut out wooden shape; another photo of it if you got to paint it
Prompts:
- How far did you get with your shape this week? Cut out? Painted?
- What was the most challenging part of the week, and how did you address it?
- You have 2 class periods (INCLUDING class on the 18th) [and after school time!] to cut your shape (if you haven't yet), paint and add circuitry / etc to your shape, AND set up the display for the reception. Make sure your plans can be accomplished in that time, or plan to come in extra.
- **I will be in Design 1 after school (until 4:45) the 16, 17 and 18 for any of you who want to come in and work more on your project. DO YOU PLAN TO COME IN DURING AN AFTERNOON SESSION??
- We'll be resuming work on your individual project on Friday 11/20
Ms. Sutter
