9/11 3D Design 7

Today in class, we finalized our projects by putting in designs in the paper lanterns. Last class most of the us only did the cut lines and fold lines but we used different shape tools and trace tools to make our only one design on these paper lantern.

This is an example of what the design might look like.

What was most challenging for everyone was to make sure that the shape you cut out for your design, doesn't cover the tabs. If your shape is a little too close to the sides, the tabs will block part of it and it will look funky.

The machine is finally set up and we will be able to actually cut out our paper lanterns!
