3D Design
Photos to include: Sceenshot of your inkscape design file (with strokes large enough to see!)
Screenshot of the shape you are making - either the file flat, or also with a folded up 3D version if you have a photo from your search.
Prompts:
- What was your biggest challenge(s) with vectors in inkscape ?
- What surprised you about the process to make a file you can send to the laser cutter?
- What is another thing you want to cut on the laser cutter?
- I was wondering . . . .
Photos: Folded figure out of cardboard (flat and in 3D), drawn circuits, and foil / LED circuits you made in class.
Prompts:
- What was the most challenging part of making the 3D Cardboard figures?
- What was one key concept or big idea you learned about circuits / batteries?
- What was one challenge you faced when making your actual circuit?
- What was a lightbulb moment with circuits as you made them in class?
- I was wondering . . .
Note these instructions from the inkscape site - you need both the Inkscape dmg and the XQuartz dmg for this to work.You may also have to restart your computer to get it to work.
